“Génesis”, which blends contemporary dance, digital art, videomapping and immersive sound, invites the audience on a poetic and sensorial journey between reality and dream, immersing them in the universal energy that gives birth to the world. The piece interacts live with reactive visuals and interactive projections, where each movement of the performers triggers light and sound in a living audiovisual environment.

“Génesis is also an ode to dreaming as a vehicle for freedom: an invitation to travel with your eyes closed and take flight. It is an experience that encourages disconnecting from the noise and stress of modern life and entering a dreamlike universe where anything is possible,” says Paco Gramaje, the project’s director.

The 50-minute show is designed for all audiences, from families with children to lovers of immersive digital arts, offering an accessible, spectacular and deeply artistic experience.

The show will run on December 27, 28, 29 and 30, with three daily sessions at 1:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm, providing multiple opportunities to enjoy this unique immersive experience.

A new format never before seen in Spain

The premiere will take place at Espai l’Idem – Creative Arts School, the new space of the Barcelona campus of the international creative arts school, specialised in animation. For this event, the venue will be adapted with a 33-metre curved LED screen in a 270º format and a 7.1 multichannel immersive sound system. The 270º screen format is a cinematic technology that expands the central image to the sides of the room to create a fully immersive visual experience.

“Génesis” represents a milestone in Spain’s immersive arts scene by moving beyond projection-based models and offering an experience with the highest quality in LED, interactivity and multichannel sound.

“Génesis” aims to open a space for reflection on the relationship between humans and technology, showing that far from being a mere tool, new digital possibilities can be harmoniously integrated into the performing arts to enrich and elevate them.
